牛肉または豚肉と、ジャガイモ、タマネギなどの野菜を炒めてから、醤油と砂糖などで煮た料理。ビーフシチューから発想を得て考案されたという説がある。

Stir-fried potatoes and vegetables, such as onions, with beef or pork simmered in soy sauce and sugar. It is said to be inspired by beef stew.
