煮豆

金時豆、黒豆、大豆などの乾燥豆を砂糖で甘く柔らかく煮た料理。醤油を加えることもある。惣菜のルーツのひとつで、常備菜の定番。

Dried beans, such as red kidney beans, black beans, and soybeans, simmered in sugar until tender. Soy sauce may be added. Japanese side dishes are rooted in this classic dish. It is a staple preserved food.
